I typically paint on stretched canvas however this piece in particular is very large so I stretched it on my studio wall and painted it in place! This piece is the largest canvas work I’ve completed to date. It was the feature piece for my solo show ‘No. 016 and all of her variation lovelies’. I created this show to celebrate turning 50! All 27 original paintings in this show were Original Variations of the concept No. 016 from my series [ 10×10×10×10 ]. Each was created with 18 vertical Lines, 1 for each of my 18 colors. Works varied in size from 6”x6” up to 60”x108” and even included several circular works.

This piece [once stretched on bars] will be 60”x108”. On the ‘extra’ canvas surrounding the painting are hand-written ‘notes, calculations, statements, questions, etc’. I added these as a unique opportunity to have a piece of my mind and my thoughts permanently associated with one of my paintings. This work will make a Grand statement on any feature wall!

Scaled up Originals are variations of concepts from the series [ 10×10×10×10 ]. This work is 60”x108”. This concept can be scaled up or down in any size other than 10”x10” on a commission basis. Each is numbered sequentially in order of completion. All are signed, dated, and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Each Original Variation of this concept will be different based on color adjacencies. Each will be created using 18 equal vertical Lines, 1 per each my current palette of 18 colors. This product is acrylic paint on unstretched canvas. Shipping & Handling or International tax is additional. Stretching is additional.
